Although the full Windows 10 free upgrade program is now over you can still get a free upgrade from the Microsoft Assistive Technologies site and using the tool available there.

If you are getting the following error message:
Error code: 0xC004F034
Error description: The Software Licensing Service reported that the licence could not be found or was invalid
Just keep attempting to activate using the button in Settings, Update and Security, Activation. After a number of attempt the request should go through and Windows 10 will activate.
